I do not have to understand God's decrees in order to follow them. Once He has spoken, my resolve is to obey.
You cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
A Fitting Response
In view of this, my response to you O Lord is faith. I do not have to understand your decrees to follow and obey them. Once you have said it, my resolve is to obey.
Amazingly when I so do, my life seems to flow very well. I experience a harmony which is difficult to describe. Things seem to fit quite neatly. The world makes sense.
Thanks for saving me and giving me the ability to appreciate your blessed decrees. They will rule my life as long as I live.
