Why do you boast of evil, you mighty man? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? Your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor.

When Darkness Speaks Loudly

There is a story trending on social media that can easily grieve and trouble you. A certain content creator feels some people because of their looks should not be allowed to procreate. He suggests involuntary vasectomy for such, arguing that they are propagating inferior genes on earth.

Should a Christian even be reading such? I do. Reason: I consider it part of my responsibility to understand the context in which God expects me to propagate the gospel. I respect the reasons some believers may have for avoiding such content, but I must understand the world I am sent into.

Back to the disgraceful man with a razor sharp tongue. What concerns me is that by his evil boldness and consistency, he is winning many to his school of thought. Even when people expressed great anger at him, he remained bullish and wondered why people were annoyed with him rather than blaming God.

Children Of Darkness And Children Of Light

Jesus said the children of darkness are more shrewd than the children of the light. This man therefore serves as a wake-up call to me. I must be more bold, un-apologetic, and consistent in propagating the message that my Master has committed to me.

It is not time to sleep, despair, or be carried away by worldly concerns. Rather it is time to put on the full armour and get into the action. Our Commander has never lost any battle.
