Your destiny is not in man's power, malice, or ignorance. It remains in the hands of God who can use even those things to fulfil His purpose.
You killed the author of life, but God raised Him from the dead. I know that you acted in ignorance, but this is how God fulfilled what He had foretold.
The Weight Of A Small Word
I find the word but in the NIV translation very weighty. Fellows kill Jesus thinking it is over, but God. Guys act foolishly out of ignorance, again but God uses this ignorance to fulfil prophecy.
This tells me two things. One, man can have power over you and misuse it to harm you, but God can use those same actions intended for harm to lift you beyond what you imagined possible.
An Instrument At God's Disposal
Secondly, God can use even human ignorance to achieve His purposes. Wisdom, ignorance, folly, malice, shrewdness, all are instruments at God's disposal.
In view of this, what are you worried about, child of God? The same situation that has kept you awake is simply an instrument at God's disposal. Cheer up. Your destiny is not in man's power or malice or any precarious situation. It is in God's hands.
